Acer Chromebook 315 (CB315-5H-C7KX) Short Review

Specifications - 15.6 Inch Full HD IPS anti-glare display, Intel N100 processor, Intel UHD Graphics, 4 GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128 GB eMMC storage, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a MicroSD card reader, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, 3.5mm jack, HD Webcam and DTS Audio technology.

Build - Sturdy build made with recycled materials. A hard plastic casing for low weight with better build quality. Not that durable but can withstand small falls.

Display - 15.6 Inch Full HD display gives a good viewing experience. Anti-glare feature gives better visibility in bright lights.

Processor - N100 processor is good for normal and light usage like basic browsing, writing and other general tasks. If you open CPU intensive apps like linux applications or android apps which require more RAM and CPU power, you will feel the lag.

Graphics - Graphics are only for display purposes and not for gaming. You can run basic android games but not heavy graphic games..

RAM - 4 GB of RAM is basic. This RAM is sufficient to work on google suites and web browsing. You may notice lag when opening many web browser tabs or doing RAM intensive work.

Storage - Storage is dependable on the usage. This is an eMMC storage, so there are no fast data transfers or write speeds. It's just a place to store less sized files.

Battery - Acer claims about 11.5 Hours of battery life with a single full charge but we can expect around 8 hours of battery life.

Suited For - Kids (not that durable), parents, students (light usage), light web browsing and watching videos.

Not Suited For - Gamers, small kids who like to break things, heavy users.

Conclusion

This is a 15.6 inch model of Acer Chromebook 314 (CB314-4H-C2UW) with same specs. If you are a light user and want a 15.6 inch chromebook, this laptop is for you.
